Change My Life

“Hi,

We are the Robinsons (name changed for anonymity). We first happened upon JT during a very difficult, time in our lives. It was a deep struggle for us, we sadly lost one of our children in a car accident. I am sure you can imagine the turmoil we had. Our relationship was in bits and on the verge of breaking, we were both off work sick and in the UK it is a pittance to live on, so we were on the way, no very close to losing our home also. I had become very short fused with everyone and anything, breaking things in frustration and anger. We both continually asked ourselves. Why us, how could this happen to us. We blamed each other in a way of, ‘if you hadn’t have done that she would still be here.’ Our daughter was feeling the brunt of it as we were both becoming distant from her and short fused, anxiety and worried with her at the same time. Neither of us were to blame as it was a bus. But that didn’t stop us blaming each other and our life was in ruins in every part of it.

We lived near a beach in the UK and one summer evening we decided to take a walk with our daughter and try talk about our marriage while she played on the sand. This is where we met JT, he was just sat on the beach doing nothing, totally still and silent, my daughter asked what the man was doing and I said I don’t know. I felt compelled to approach and ask if he was ok. As I walked around the front of him I saw he was just staring out to sea, I asked him if he was ok with no reply, I walked closer to him and asked again, this time a reply came, “Yes, thank you my friend, very kind of you to check on me, I was basking in the awe of this planet and the forces of nature which are all a part of”

We sat for some time behind him, and our daughter kept running around to him and he was very patient, even helped her build a sandcastle at one point. We told our daughter not to bother the man but he said it was fine and he was happy to talk to her and play in the sand. We felt very at ease with him and our talk about our marriage fell by the wayside until, he walked up to us and said “you asked me if I was ok, now your daughter is settled playing, it is my turn, are you both ok, could I help in anyway?”

Well, we both poured our hearts out to him, and he was very understanding, empathic and compassionate and our chat did help at the moment. He then asked us to take one of his course which he said would help, (this was no sales pitch) he offered us the course for free to help us out, wow…

He walked away after giving us the details and for the next couple of weeks we carried on the struggle and debating this course. We finally succumbed and wowwww… We are both glad we did as it did ‘change our lives’ completely and utterly. We became more aware and present and in doing so began to feel the joy in ourselves and in life again. Two weeks after the course end so just 8 weeks from starting it, we both in a positive place decided to start our own business, with what this course taught us we are now, two years down the line with a successful multi-million-pound business.

A chance encounter with JT and his course changed our mind-set, changed the way we were thinking and feeling, yes, we will always grieve for our daughter, but she wouldn’t want us falling apart and this compelled us to change and begin to be in control of our own, thoughts, feelings and emotions.

It is a once in a lifetime opportunity because you will never need anything else. Just as JT would like, we now would like to help others achieve this state of joy, so we are happy to subsidise the course for 20 people, the first 20 that enrol on it. But as JT will say, you have to be willing to change and do the real work required to change.
